Sunday Morning is Just the Start
At Redeemer Fellowship Church, we believe that attendance on Sunday mornings is just the start of what Christian community should look like. We have opportunities to get plugged into small groups, take classes, serve the neighborhood, and make genuine connection with other people.
FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
Join intentional community
As we read the Bible, we see that the church is more than a building or a set of programs for us to enjoy. What separates us from just a crowd of attendees or a common club is the intentional creation of a community where people are encouraged to mature as disciples of Christ and where practical needs are met as they live life together. At Redeemer Fellowship we build this community primarily through our Fellowship Groups—small groups that meet in area homes three times a month. These groups welcome visitors and provide a great way to get to know people.
COLLEGE MINISTRY
For the students
College can be a rewarding and fulfilling time of life, but it’s not without challenges. Finding a church home away from home that provides support, encouragement, and community is important for navigating the college years. Many in our church family are current students or professors at University of Delaware, while others are Blue Hen alumni. College students are at the core of what we’re building at Redeemer, and we welcome you to be a part of it!
YOUTH MINISTRY
For your teens
Nicknamed CodeRED, the youth ministry was created to support the families of young adults. The aim is to help young people know and delight in the gospel and help them navigate common issues facing 6th-12th graders. We do that by hosting teaching meetings, parent/teen small groups, service & ministry opportunities, youth activities & socials, and an annual YouthCamp in August. We are excited about what God is doing and will do through our CodeRED youth ministry!
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Bring the whole family
RedeemerKIDS is the name for our Sunday morning children’s ministry. We offer classes for children from 1 year old through 5th grade. In order to ensure the highest level of safety for our children we run background checks on all children’s ministry workers and utilize an electronic check-in/check-out system.
BRIDGE COURSE
Explore the faith
Why does God allow suffering? Can we really trust the Bible? Is Jesus the only way? The Bridge Course is designed to help answer these questions and explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening environment over ten weeks. There are 30 minute talks covering questions we all wrestle with followed by a 30 minute discussion to interact with the talk and share your perspective. It’s a safe environment where you can ask whatever question you like or not say a word.
