We are Committed to Discipleship

We are committed to providing ways to help you to grow in your Christian faith and in your service to Christ and His church. Discover how you can grow and serve through our discipleship and leadership development programs.

Explore

The Explore retreat is a great way to learn more about Redeemer Fellowship and meet other new people in the church. It takes place four times a year at our church office on Friday evening and most of the day on Saturday. You will get to know the pastors, hear teaching about the beliefs of the church, and ask any question you may have. The Explore retreat is also the first step for those interested in becoming gfmembers of Redeemer Fellowship.

Fellowship Groups

Fellowship Group is the name of our small group ministry. These meetings are an opportunity to gather with others in the church for times of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. These groups meet in homes each week and are open to anyone college age and up. This is a wonderful way to grow in friendship with people in the church as we pursue growth in Biblical discipleship together. Whole families are welcome and child care is provided.

Bible Studies

In addition to our Fellowship Groups, there are many other contexts to grow in knowledge of God’s Word together. We have men’s and women’s meetings that meet several times a year, small group Summer Bible Studies that take place each summer, Re-Engage courses designed to strengthen marriages, and periodic Study Halls that explore theological topics or whole books of the Bible. All of these contexts are open to anyone interested in attending.

Core

The Core Curriculum is a 4-month course that covers basic tenets of the Christian faith, as well as a set of deeper topics for those who desire to grow through a structured discipleship program that includes teachings, discussion, and Q&A. The course includes four Sunday afternoon sessions and four Friday evening sessions. All sessions are held at the church office during the months of January through May. Anyone in the church is welcome to sign up for this course.

Invest

Invest is a 10-month discipleship and leadership development course, led by a pastor in small group format. This course is designed to equip men and women for maturity in Christ and potential leadership roles in the church. The goal of Invest is to (1) assist in doctrinal development through study and discussion (2) equip and train participants for leadership opportunities and (3) provide a fellowship context for evaluation of character and gifting. Invest is by invite only.

Pastoral Development

In addition to other discipleship contexts, we also provide opportunities for men in our church to explore the calling of pastoral ministry

Summer Internship

Our Summer Ministry Interest Cohort is designed for men who are interested in learning more about, or who are starting to explore the calling of, pastoral ministry. The cohort is lead by our pastors and covers a range of ministry-related content. The Ministry Interest Cohort meets for a couple hours on Saturdays for 12 weeks, with time to discuss that week’s assignments, and dive into application and lessons learned from the pastors.

Pastors College

The Sovereign Grace Pastors College is a training program (based in Louisville, Kentucky) for men called to pastoral ministry within Sovereign Grace Churches. Its goal is to equip future pastors for leadership, church planting, and serving their congregations faithfully. The Pastors College education is not merely theological education in the abstract, but training that equips a pastor to bring the truth of God’s Word to bear upon the lives of God’s people.
